Summer Aspirations

★ go to the beach more often ★

have a picnic ★

have more home-cooked meals

This summer has been passing by quicker than ever. I still can't grasp my head around he fact that it's already August and that I still haven't done a lot of the things I was planning on doing. I've been studying for my psychometric exam (the Israeli version of SATs) and it's been... well, not v fun. However! I'll be done with it in a month, and I'll have a couple free months to photograph, eat, blog and sleep.

What are your plans for the rest of the summer?

Haze

Lia is wearing a tank top from the Carmel Market and an American Apparel skirt

Can you tell it was about 5000 degrees Celsius while we were shooting these photos? Longing for Summer, sunshine and beaches through out the Fall, Winter and Spring tends to make me forget how nice it is to be able to go outside and not melt completely within the second you leave the house.

Things have been a bit rocky, but new posts will be up soon. Let me know what you think about the photos in the comments below!

Instagrams to Follow

@zoesuen

@eolhcsheppard

@roosvanrij

Instagram is one of the biggest tools I use for inspiration. If I'm not watching cat videos on youtube or re-watching old episodes of every show I've ever like on netflix, I'm probably scrolling through instagram.

I'll be doing more of these posts in the future, so if you'd like me to check out your feed, make sure to leave your username in the comments below!

What are the people on instagram that inspire you?

Wishlist 001

Untitled #83

bralette // sunglasses // off-shoulders top // denim top // straw bag // shoes

This is the wishlist of a human being who's been preventing herself from going on to ASOS or stepping anywhere near Zara. It's either saving up for the camera lens that I want, or spending everything on pasta and shoes.

What's on your wishlist at the moment?

Daydreams

~ Shot these photos of lovely Lia a couple of weeks ago in Tel Aviv ~

Heartbreaks are shitty. No matter how many times you watch "500 Days of Summer", how much Ben&Jerry's you eat, or how much Italian food (aka my happy food) you consume- nothing really takes the pain away. Nothing makes you miss the random kisses any less. Or the long goodbye-hugs. Or the late night snuggles. Or the morning tea together.

I'm not saying the movies lied about it getting better, or that Ben&Jerry's doesn't make you feel better or that Italian food isn't a reminder to the fact that there are things worth living for. It's just that they don't really help while you're busy reminiscing about the first kisses, the first hugs, the first time you fell asleep in each other's arms, the first time you drank tea in the morning and couldn't be bothered with anything else but that specific moment.
